The Key Details
Job Title: Political Canvasser – Matt Norris for Minnesota
Location: Blaine and Lexington, MN
Pay: $25 per hour
Schedule: 1–4 shifts per week, 3 hours per shift
Position Overview
We are seeking motivated and outgoing canvassers to engage voters through door-to-door outreach in Blaine and Lexington in the north metro suburbs for Minnesota State Representative Matt Norris. Canvassers play a critical role in connecting our campaign with community members, sharing campaign information, and gathering voter feedback and personal stories.
Responsibilities
Conduct door-to-door outreach in assigned neighborhoods
Communicate key campaign messages clearly and professionally
Distribute literature from the campaign
Engage residents in meaningful conversations
Record interactions using the MiniVAN app to ensure accurate data for the campaign
Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable walking and working outdoors in various weather conditions for 3-hour shifts
Reliable transportation to and from assigned turf locations
Ability to work independently and stay motivated
Previous canvassing or customer service experience preferred but not required, training can be provided
Compensation & Schedule
$25 per hour on an independent contract/1099 basis
Flexible scheduling: 1 to 4 shifts per week
Each shift lasts approximately 3 hours, depending on the size of the list
Evenings and weekends starting May 18, 2026
